Thinking About Homeless Veterans on Memorial Day

Every year the USA honors fallen armed forces members on Memorial Day.  We here at ^Housing Futures also honor and thank our armed forces for their sacrifices.  As a houser myself, one of the first programs I every worked with was the HUD VASH voucher program for homeless veterans.  This program has made one of the largest systems wide impacts of any housing program in the USA.  The targeted housing resources with case management has led to a drastic reduction in veteran homelessness.

The program only continues to grow and it is important that we continue to fund this and reduce veteran homelessness.  For more information on the program, Click Here For Veteran Homelessness Article.
